Shiatsu Massage Chair Reviews
1st March 2012
Author: Mike James
The definitive guide to shiatsu massage chairs
The Fujikura 2000 massage chair retails for this price and comes with an intelligent 4 roller system that conforms to the contour of your spine and a special neck massage function that directly targets stress relieving "tsubo points" on your neck. It also has other features such as 26 air bags - 20 of which are in the foot and calf massager - as well as arm massagers. The massage modes include: rolling, kneading, shiatsu results, compression and percussion, chop action and flapping. As an added bonus, the massage chair comes with a music therapy system and soothing soundwaves.
Fujikura is a Japanese company that makes the best shiatsu ergonomic chair. Buy one designed by a Japanese electronics company. The Sanyo HEC-SA5000K Massage Chair is the real deal and retails for around $4,300. It's a lot of money, I know, but you really are getting something that is in the top tier. It's a very stylish chair but more importantly, it comes with physical body shape detectors that will automatically adjust the massage rollers to your particular body shape to deliver a custom massage.
Overall I rate this massage chair 10/10

ABOUT FAMILY INADA
FAMILY Inada is a manufacturer of Japans No. 1 selling luxury shiatsu massage chair, the INADA chair. The company was founded in Japan in 1962, introducing the worlds first therapeutic massage chair. Since its inception, the company has been devoted to designing and building therapeutic massage devices for home use and holds many international patents in the field. With sales divisions in the U.S., Germany and S.E. Asia, FAMILY Inada is creating a healthy living environment for all as a leader in the advanced research and development of massage related technology
The INADA Chair is the synergy of Eastern medical wisdom and modern technology. The ultimate goal of massage is to enhance the bodys natural healing ability by releasing stress and promoting circulation. According to Eastern medicine, the key to good health is maintaining a balance the yin and yang elements in the body, including the relationships between the upper and lower body, left and right, and front and back. The body has more than 350 pressure points aligned with the internal organs along the meridians. Stimulation of specific pressure points through kneading, tapping or pressing can energize the internal organs, helping some cases to slow or possibly prevent the onset of disease. The INADA Chair is the only chair that relies on the techniques and knowledge of professional massage and shiatsu therapists.
The INADA Chair is the only shiatsu massage chair that uses a state-of-the-art infrared technology to scan your body, detect pressure points and give you customized massage programs. With the infrared pressure point detection technology, the INADA Chair became the best-selling luxury shiatsu massage chair in Japan. The chair was designed by shiatsu and massage therapy professionals to give you the benefits of traditional Japanese acupressure massage everyday, at your convenience, in your home or office. The chair can help you take command of your health by aiding in the release of disease-causing stress, enhancing the healing effects of sleep and relieving job-related fatigue.
The INADA Chair is sold as a "Medical Chair" in Japan. It was approved by the Japanese government in 1998 for use in non-clinical massage and acupressure therapy and is marketed for home-therapeutic medical purposes in Japan.
The INADA Chair is now registered and approved by the FDA as a medical device.

FEATURES
FAMILY INADA was the first to introduce an automatic infrared pressure point detection system.
Today, each INADA chair recognizes Shiatsu pressure point locations for over 100 body types. Your INADA massage experience will begin with an infrared body scan that identifies your central pressure points. The chair then adjusts its internal mechanisms to match your body type and customize your massage. This incredible flexibility makes the INADA chair an investment that can be used by the entire family.
ULTRA-SLOW Variable massage movement is unique to the INADA Chair
Designed to mimic the hand movements of a massage therapist, this proprietary "Human Touch" technology provides a wider range of variation in kneading, tapping, rhythm shiatsu and combination strokes. Multi-directional air bags and vibration systems work together to ease tension in the arms, lower body and thighs.
The INADA Chair is designed to respond to individual needs
A series of massage programs developed by the FAMILY INADA design team allow you to choose the right massage for your body, on any given day, anytime. For example, one program is designed for the morning, to rejuvenate and energize the entire body, while another is designed for night time, to soothe and relieve the tensions of the day. You can concentrate on certain parts of the body, or focus on a single area such as your back, your shoulders or your feet.
